How many miles should Val Maxlife with a good filter like a NAPA Gold last under normal driving conditions.

Thank You

Depends on the car. 3 quart sump on an engine known to sludge up, or a 10+ quart capacity Cadillac that's cruising the highway?

I'd say 5,000-6,000 miles is good enough

Should last the manufacturer oci for normal driving.

Anything significantly more should be checked through a UOA.

Yes, at least as long as the owner's manual non-severe schedule, but not a lot over unless verified with UOA's. which in most cars means 5,000-7,500 mi.

I would say anywhere from 4000-6000. 4000 for cars with small sump, known sludge issues, etc... and 6000 for cars that are easy on their oil, have large sumps, etc...

I run it for around 5k or once a year in my MiLs Corolla. Its not hard on oil but only holds around 4quarts.

It depends entirely on what car and it's condition, so the 'best' and 'safest' answer is always going to be: whatever the manual tells you.

Thanks guys it a Dodge 4.7 liter in a full size quad cab. It holds 6 quarts of oil and has 60,000 miles on it. It is a 2005 model.

I run blends for 5-6K. My Colorado holds six quarts also.
