Happily, this report is about as boring as a UOA could be.
In the 4.5 years I've owned my naturally aspirated 2018 Mazda CX-5, I've only driven it 15,000 miles. There were just 2341 miles on this sample--I change the oil annually for warranty compliance.
I drive infrequently, but when I do, I warm the engine up thoroughly, mostly on the highway.
I've always used genuine Mazda filters: oil 1WPE-14-302; air PE07-13-3A0A.
In periodic inspections of the engine, I haven't seen any indications of a problem, but because of reports of this engine developing cracks in the cylinder head, I decided to get an oil analysis done.
So far, so good.
Nice to see that Valvoline Extended Protection has quite a bit of moly. I'm led to believe that's a good thing.
