... on the Fusion this afternoon. All I can say is wow! A wonderful shine, and it is by far the easiest wax I've worked with. It goes on like butter, and just a small portion of the liquid wax will go a LONG way. It came off easily also, and best of all, no staining on the black plastic trim. I'm gonna put a coat on the Focus before it gets too cold out. Overall I'm very pleased with this stuff so far. We'll see how long the effects last, although I usually wax twice per year anyhow.

On a side note, while detailing the Fusion I found somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 or 60 little 'beads' of this black sticky stuff. Almost like sap, but black instead of brown (although the residue was brown). It came off easily with a fingernail, but was pretty resistant to powerwashing. I thought maybe tar from a construction zone, but then I also noticed some spots on places where it really couldn't be 'flung'. Like it would almost have to have fallen on those areas. Any idea of what it could be? The car is always parked underneath a roof at home, or in an open parking lot at work.

Could be Artillery Fungus also, Ive seen these many times before and they are little black specks that can be a PITA to remove.

I just got my collinite 476s wax in the mail today, 24 hours after the temperature dropped 30 degrees. I hope i get a nice day to try it out. Glad to hear it worked out well for you.

Good to hear. I wanted to get to mine this weekend, but I ran out of daylight yesterday to wash. Might do it today if the rain holds off, but it is pretty dark out there still for 7:45. Doesn't look promising.

I clayed my Honda put a coat of duragloss 501 down, and the next day a coat of Collinite 845. I'm happy with the results and hope it will last a while, I can't take pictures now, hurricane Sandy is making its way towards me.

Sandy is coming alright, where on Long Island are you? I'm pretty much on the Nassau Queens border, and the wind is slowly picking up. The 845 is beading well on the Buick, my Jeep is in the garage, and the Van is under the carport. I hope the carport can hold up to the wind later on when the storm hits full force.

Massapequa, my truck is in my garage, my Honda in the driveway. I'm not concerned about the storm tide, the wind however is bad. My lights have been flickering most of the day, btw nice beading by collinite.
