I suppose it would depend on what kind they are. Aluminum alloy? If they come with sensors, that's a fair deal, but do you need new sensors? You can typically swap them across from your other wheels. But if you need a second set of wheels with sensors mounted, less than 100 bucks each isn't a bad deal.

OEM or aftermarket?
What car do they fit?
What condition are they in?
Is it $85 for one, or $340 for a set of four?

Steel wheels for a YARIS from a automotive salvage . They'd be the O.E.M.. These rims w/ TPMS would cost 5 times as much through a TOYOTA parts department . Called a few . Was

ed . These are very hard to find used . Have tried many times in past and always struck out . Would put new all seaon tires on them .

The TPMS is $59 new from RockAuto. The wheels have very little resale value. I may have been too quick to say "overpriced" above. It's a fine price, but not an amazing deal.

If the warranty includes the TPMS sensors, then maybe it's a good deal if the wheels are in excellent condition.

" If the warranty includes the TPMS sensors, then maybe it's a good deal if the wheels are in excellent condition. "

Asked if TPMS is warrantied and was told yes . Wouldn't know condition until we pick them up . These are about 70 mis. away . There's only one used parts place in our area and we had a poor experience with them .

Aren't the wheels for the Yaris 4x100? I would check out craigs list for steelies with dead snowtires on them, I see rims and tires going for $120 a set often but without TPMS.

This seems like something for which a much cheaper generic equivalent may come out in a couple years.

You haven't stated whether you can live without TPMS or not. For example you could chuck them all in your spare tire.

Figure it's cheaper than having snows and all season tires exchanged twice a year at $60+ a year .

I personally wouldn't pay anywhere near that for rims for snow tires. Especially used ones. However, I don't care about the TPMS. If you do, then your priorites may be different. I've bought the cheapest steel rims from Tire Rack or Discount Tire and used them for yers with absolutely no issues on multiple cars. That's what I would go for. Buy them as a package with the snows already mounted and its a great deal.

Ya know, my buddy had to replace two 15" steelies(no TPMS) for his sons CR-V and they were expensive for the both, IIRC, $45 each($90 for two). Depends on the vehicle, the area of the country you live in, shipping etc. He was also in a hurry to get them, had to have'em!

Like I said , these are very hard to find ( rare ) , they're the original rims w/ TPMS from a YARIS , and have a 1 year warranty including the TPMS . So , have to include that in the price . They also put them on a balance machine . Have to wait and see how they look when we pick them up . We have the right to turn them down if not satisfied .

Bought them . These rims are hard to find . They sell fairly quick due to the winter and not many YARIS end up in salvage yards . Have tried many times before and struck out . Had to go for it . This includes 1 yr. warranty and were checked for balance . Doubt anything of craigslist and other similar sites would include that .
