On regular black paint..not metalic...? I just need to see if I can freshen up the bumper covers.....and maybe the trunk....

not sure if I want to do the entire car....its older...not sure it would hurt anything.....

I have read a few various opinions but not see anything here..

I assume it is Turtle Wax's Black Box product. I have seen it but never investigated it/

Its just a wax with fillers. Clay bar, and use ultimate compound with even hand pressure, nxt 2.0 and it will come out better.

yes I meant Black Box by turtle wax

i understand it has pigment in it..ie black...which would help as both my bumpers have some fading and I dont think or know that clay bar and compound is going to change that....

i thought the black stuff would make it better till I get around to getting them painted.

The black box, is just TW's kit for polishing black cars. It comes with a pre-wax cleaner, black tinted wax, and QD spray for the final shine up and ease of buffing off the wax.

From all reports I've heard, it works as advertised if you are willing to do the complete process.

sounds like Zaino.

I use zaino and dont find the process to be difficult at all. Although my final polish is ZPC or ZAIO cause i dont want to go back over the vehicle.

I now use ONR and Z8 has no issues bonding over it either.

I stick with zaino not because it lasts 6 months, but because after 8 weeks of washing it looks pretty much exactly the same as when i put it on. Not much else can say that.
