Bought a 93 Goldwing last week-end to tool around on. It came with the 1993 Service Manual - not the owners manual.
This thing is about 3 inches thick in a 7-ring binder. PO apparently did not keep it safe and dry. Mold all over the edges and lots of pages stuck together from moisture/humidity through the years.
Have tried to painstakingly separate some of the worst pages (and there are lots of them) to no avail. They peel, tear, and parts of the pages quickly become unreadable. I don't rip them apart, I go very slowly attempting to gingerly separate them.
Even tried to very lightly steam a couple of the pages. Didn't help at all.
Does anyone have any advice here? Other than buy a new manual?
