Hi Guys,

I just tried Hydro2 on my car and my brother in laws car, all I can say is its unreal!

It feels like another layer of clear coat, almost glass like. Very glossy and et appearance. I am (was) an avid collinite user, 476 and 845, but this stuff just blows it out of the water. Which is strange, to say the least.
It has been a month and a half - I will hold a few reservations until a little down the road, my black versa has roasted even 476s after two months of Summer heat and tree abuse.
I have used a lot of different products over the years and nothing has ever acted like this- looked like this stuff - and provided such an obvious layer of protection than this product.

Anyway, google it - hydro2 - from a company called carpro.

Yep, sounds great! Just have to make sure the car's paint is in good shape first. But better than the wipe on walk off sealants. Since with this you spray it on and rinse off then dry.

hydro2 did an amzing job at hiding/covering- filling in my multiple swirl marks, but yes I am sure a polish with a non max product could yield better results.

Just blown away with the ease compared to the trditional sporead on buff off.

I bought Hydro2 from Corey at CarPro USA when it first came out and have gotten the pleasure of using it on quite a few cars. Want to have some fun, try it in your engine bay, just awesome.
It's not cheap, looks better on some colors than others, and I found the durability lacking compared to most other quality sealants.
But for ease of use, it's amazing. Hydro2 is technology at it's best, but I don't think it will make me stop using my beloved old school Collinite any time soon.

try their newest product. Prima HydroMax. It is a steroid induced product simliar to Hydroseal. I have used everything out there from Fuzion to WDGLS and this product has a shine, glow, warth, call it what you want, but the most beautiful shine I have yet to wee. Spray it on, wipe it off, that simple. I have had it on for over 3 months now on 4 cars and the durability is exactly the same as when I first used it.

HydroMax is made by Prima car care, Hydro2 is made by CarPro, and on top of that, they are 2 completely different products.

I was at a buddy’s shop last night and was able to try Hydro2. This stuff is really a “game-changer” in the application process of a sealant.

His bottle was diluted 1:4 (or even 1:5), and it still gave the advertised results. The application is a bit finicky, but the trick is to mist it on and avoid any glass. You must rinse the panel with a strong stream of water within a couple seconds.

The beading is extremely good and the gloss is in its own league.

Supposedly it can last 3-4 months (if applied to bare, de-contaminated paint), but my car is Opti-Coated so the durability is probably very low. However, it is worth using just for the added gloss and ease of drying.

wow, that's a pretty positve review. I'll add this to my 'to buy' list. Carpro has really broke new ground. I'm blown away by what has been done with their orange peel removal pads. That's a drastic game changer. I just need a donor car to test them out on.

To be transparent, the maker of that video is the CarPro-US distributor, but I've personally used the product and can attest to all of the benefits that are advertised - they're true.

I am not sure on the durability since I am using it as a topper for Opti-Coat.
