Picked up 5 qts of Havoline 5W20 Conventional this morning from Walmart for $13.88. Going to try it in the Ranger. I may switch both vehicles to it after reading how good Havoline and Chevron products are.

I've always like Havoline, unfortunately we don't have any Texaco/Chevron stations here. But there was a time when the local Rite Aids carried it and put in on sale for like a buck a quart. They stopped carrying it as did the local Wal-Marts but recently it's making a comeback at Advance here...

Did an oil change with the Havoline 5W30 HM yesterday. it was $13.@@ with a coupon attached for a couple of dollars off.

Best deal out there right now for a brand name SN/GF-5 oil. Used a Purolator and will change it again in 5000 miles.

Ran Havoline for years. Used to buy three or four cases at a time when WM would run it on sale for 99 cents. That was pre-Katrina days!

I did get one Havoline synthetic change for the great price of $19.99 for five qt's with a PUREone filter. I should have gotten more but the oil stock pile is a tad on the high side. It looks like a very solid oil meeting all the major spec's. I did use the Purolater filter today though...

when I worked at AZ a long time ago and people would ask me to choose their oil for them, I'd always go with Havoline, only because I knew it was a good oil, and that it never sold very well, so to move the product, they got a great oil and I got to move the inventory out!

One of the few win-win situations; good on ya.

900 miles to go, and I'll be giving their synthetic a try in my 2000 Century. Based on how their dino oil is I think the synthetic will be great, especially with winter approaching.

AAP carries it here in NY.

AAP had to special order it for me in VA. I drive past there on my way home so I was ok with that.
