Trip to Orlando, I95 availability of Motels in NC, SC, GA. Hurricane?

Wondering if the recent hurricane will make Hotel/Motel booking difficult. Leaving in few days. Perhaps they are all occupied by those who recently lost their homes. Traveling I77 in NC and SC, then to I95 through GA. Anyone have an idea?

I know the obvious answer is to simply call a few hotels and ask what the situation is but some people are a little stubborn.

You'll be fine in NC, SC and GA. FL will get tougher but still doable if you're willing to spend the dough.

Everybody is back home now in Florida, unless their home was destroyed of course, like in Sanibel.
One thing you need to watch for is the immigrants being housed by the govt.
I doubt that most people from the Gulf coast have gone that far away, but I don't really know.
