My wife was in the truck with me and witnessed it too. So laugh all you want.

It was timed and verified with radar?

Listen, there isn't a snowball's chance in h3ll that a 6,000lb pick-up truck is doing 60-110Mph faster than more powerful car that weighs half as much.

The 2010 BMW M3 weighs 3,600lbs, has 414HP, and does 60-120Mph in 4.1 seconds.

It also runs the 1/4 mile TWO ENTIRE SECONDS FASTER than your truck, coming in at 12.5 @ 114Mph.

Whoa! Not even close, not even in the ballpark. At a minimum, double those figures. In fact it's likely closer to triple the 0-60 to get the 60-120mph. The only time you're going to see similar 0-60 and 60-120mph times is when the car is traction limited the entire way to 60 mph and beyond.

Just think man, you could have just bought a stock Tundra and been dusting modified 'stangs and F-bodies left right and centre!

You're way behind the news today BrianWC

, Toyota already found an elegant and discrete solution to the floor mat problem, therefore there is no need to discuss floor mats anymore.

just check out the thread called "Lexus cable-tie mat hold down system" in this section.

So you are either calling me a liar or you do not believe me. Actually, my wife thinks it is ridiculous since you don't believe her either, but nevertheless, we will leave it at that.

Amkeer,

What you have proposed doesn't pass the logic test. I believe another way of saying it is that you are mistaken. I have no idea of your intentions so I try to believe that y'all simply had a lapse of something. However, please feel free to put a video up on Youtube to prove us wrong. 60-120 in 5s from a stock Tundra will garner a lot of hits.

I never said 60-120.It was 60-110. If you have two people that witness the same thing I guess the YOU part falls to the wayside. I was as shocked as anyone else about the speed achieved. Keep in mind that I have owned a Z-28, Trans Am, and two RS Camaro's in my time. This truck is by far one of the quickest rides. But hey if you don't believe me that is fine. I am not out to prove anything, especially when it comes to rolling pieces of steel.

Yup.

Mine went 14.2 @ 99.9Mph BONE STOCK. With 285,000Km on it.

Actually, it is physics that is calling you a liar. A 5,600lb truck with 381HP doesn't have the power to do 60-110Mph in 5 seconds.

Its 0-60 time as tested is 6.9 seconds.

Your 60-120Mph time is always close to DOUBLE that value due to aerodynamics.

Here are the 60-120Mph times for a pile of cars:

http://www.car-videos.net/performance/speed.asp?Speed1=60&Speed2=120

On that list:

Bugatti Veyron: 4.95s
Mercedes CLK-GTR: 5.59s
Lamborghini Diablo: 7.88s

So yeah, a Tundra is going to do it in 5.00s......
