That’s an interesting comment wrt management …The closure seems to have been announced last year. This article has a comment from someone who was there almost 20 years. The former employee states that incompetent American management is to blame, and that he had no problems with the Japanese leadership.

Toyo didn't make tires in this facility. They made vibration dampers and rubber boots.
In fact, Toyo's tire business is up double digits
