Does the T-mobile plan have an auto-refill option? Would be a pain to have to remember to refill it every month.

Ting is 6 bux a month but they automatically bill your CC every month so you never have to worry about it going inactive or minutes expiring.

Not sure if that's an "emergency" worthy of 911 but if you're lucky, they might transfer you to the non-emergency number to get add'l help.


Well if you're broken down on the side of a highway, that would be considered an emergency. If you're in your driveway, then probably not. But then again, if you're in your driveway, you can just call from home. It's very dangerous to be on the side of the highway, people get killed all the time when other drivers aren't paying attention or are drunk and ram into cars broken down on the side of the road. Many have died just due to trying to change a flat tire. If you're close enough to an exit, it's always better to just get off at the next exit.
