Lucky to be here folks.

Thank you to Hyundai for saving my life. If I had not been in a brand new vehicle, Santa Cruz, I do not believe I would've survived this accident.

I went over a hill too fast, lost control, went off side of the road and started mowing down trees. I rolled multiple times and landed upside down. Despite the head trauma I never did lose consciousness and was able to free myself and walk, well, crawl I'd say, away. No lasting injuries.

I really liked that thing man. Really bummed. That new 2.5T w/ AWD really had some oomf. And I really liked the 8sp DCT.

Wow you are one lucky guy! A little bit of a different roll and it would have been game over. You can always buy a new vehicle but not a new life. It's good the Santa Cruz airbags and everything protected you from further injury. Get rested up and head for the dealership and get another new one. You must have been going fairly fast to damage the car to that extent. The Lord is on your side.

Guessing you were doing at least 60mph when you went off the road to cause that much destruction.

Yikes, and don't answer this one, you never know who's reading these blogs.

Yea, I was exceeding the speed limit by a wide margin. Truck went airborne and when it came down, it came down HARD and right off the side of the road we went. It was over before I knew what was happening.

You might want to delete that before the insurance man catches wind of it. It' very good that you came out of it without major surgery.

Glad you are OK. Cars going airborne rarely have harmonious outcomes. It's not like the Dukes Of Hazard where the stunt cars have specially prepared chassis and suspensions and are driven under controlled conditions by expert stunt drivers.
Yea, wouldn't recommend. No good, very bad day.
