tires with no date code

I have a set of four Master Craft made by Cooper that have a space for the date code but its blank. Should I be concerned?

Yeah, if they are white letter tires, then they are intended to be that way out, so they will stamp them there.

The dates are on the back of the tires.

I thought they had to stamp both sides of the tire now? I know they didn't, but I thought both had to be now.

There are some white letter tires that are meant to be mounted with the letters out. There will be a different article number for tires without the white letters.

The rule is the first part pf the DOT code has to be on both sides, but the date code only needs to be on the side intended out.
