I used to hate working on IH. It usually meant several trips to the dealership parts counter.
Besides the model year, model and engine size, they often required DOM, engine serial number and chassis serial number. Sometimes they also needed to know if it was a tractor (5th wheel) or box truck (whatever they refer to them as). Even bringing in the old part wasn't much help.
Cable ball.. and it's not the like Simpsons where you find the one wire and it unravels. A lot of old computer tech.. midi joysticks, modems and I think a cable for a trs80. Todays goal is all trash! 20 years of messing with it.
Giant super hot fire pile, then collect the copper next day..................
