A nice big old marbled medium rare prime T-bone steak will help that. Sure calms me down.

There is no possible way to recommend a blanket diet for everyone.

Every single person has a different body, with different chemistries, and different deficiencies. Eat more of what you need, less of what you don't. If you don't feel good eating one way, try another until you do.

Meat works for some, and is harmful to others.

Vegan works for some, and is harmful to others.

Thanks but no thanks. Smokers wold say a cigarette calms them down but I prefer healthy ways to calm down. If you think steak calms you down, you're using meat as a band aid solution.

It tends to BOG me down, and then I want to lay down on the sofa.

I was out to lunch with a vegan friend of mine, and later in the day he said- and I quote- "I feel nauseous and I have a headache. That soup I had must have had beef broth in it."

It's especially funny for me because I know vegans. I've been in a long term relationship with one. And the things that throw them off seem so innocuous to me. Like broth. A dollop of tzatziki which is mostly yogurt. A little Nuoc Mam which was heavily Americanized, not the dark heavy fermented Vietnamese stuff. Had hardly any flavor at all to me and it made her miserable.

Now they all argue that those examples show how unhealthy these foods are for you. I'm still of the opinion that their bodies have been weakened.

My "militant" vegan friends and I just do not eat around each other. To see me eating a nice fresh Tuna Nigiri makes them too angry and disgusted anyway.

I don't know any militant "carnivores".

Personally, I don't think a vegan's body has been weakened. I'd say their bodies have become more sensitive and they're better in touch with their bodies, at least with many of them. I know people that are that way, and I'm that way.

PS - We eat things that most of you would gag at, because they're extremely healthy things that we've learned to like. When a food builds health and you can notice good changes, we don't mind if it doesn't taste great. I hated superfood when I started taking it in fresh juice - reminded me of sewer water or something, but I take it every morning & evening now in fresh made organic fruit & veggie juice, with other herbs, and I don't mind a bit, and I'm quite sure it's doing me lots of good.

Personally, eating something that tastes like a chocolate covered ice cream bar but doesn't do anything for my health would not interest me a bit.

I think it's a powder that is made from plants, and you mix it with juices and other things in a blender. I tried it once, tasted like grass with a bitter after-taste. Maybe I put in too much, probably best to sneek up on this stuff.

Superfood, at least the type and brand I use, is 50% non active nutritional yeast and the rest is powders of Organic and/or wildcrafted :

Barley grass
"" wheat grass
Spirulina
Chlorella
Alalfa leaf
orange peel
Rose hips
Purple Dulse
Beet root
Lemon peel
Spinach leaf

Who are you quoting? I can't find that statement.

At least a handful people took my comment way too seriously. I merely pointed out that tastes are subjective.
