Best method is preventative maintenance. Don't wait 100K to change the factory plugs, R&R plugs with a stone cold engine, torque to spec (11 ft-lbs w/o thread lubricant). If you use anti-seize use the proper nickel based anti-seize and adjust the torque setting accordingly. Also, make sure to keep pre-ignition/detonation in check. Good advice on any engine, but important to keeping the plugs in place with the 4-thread heads.

I've put hundreds of thousands of miles on 4-thread Modulars and have never had a spark plug blowout. Recognize the "weakness", act accordingly and it's just not an issue.
