A witness to the possible crashed UFO in Las Vegas said he saw a "tall, skinny alien creature with greenish color" that was about eight to 10 feet tall.

Zero chance it was a meteor in their backyard. In fact, I'd say there's a zero percent chance that anything landed in their backyard. This is the supposed crash site. The faint circle where I am pointing is where the family is claiming it landed. I guess because it looks to be pretty close to a perfect circle? I don't know..

Edit: They have a YouTube channel I guess now. The name is "Alien Society 51". A bit on the nose.
