I picked this up from PSA last week. And yesterday it arrived at my FFL. It's a Tokarev TX3 12 in Electroless Nickel finish, with a nice Turkish Walnut stock. They refer to it as, "Stainless". For only $220.00 the mouse just took off by itself and clicked on it, I swear.

I also comes with nice adjustable Ghost Ring Sights with a built in rail, if one chooses to mount an optic. It also comes with 3 screw in chokes. (Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full). You don't see that too often with 18" barreled self defense shotguns. Most are fixed cylinder bores.

The front sight is a Hi-Viz style Green Dot that shows up nicely. Another thing I like is the front of the heat shield locks in place under the back of the front sight. Rather than having those silly clamps with undersize screws, that you can never get tight enough to hold the thing in place.

In the back it is locked against the front of the receiver. So it's not going anywhere. Plus, it comes right off when you pull the barrel, making it easy to clean underneath it. Overall it's a really nice set up.

The action is butter smooth. The internal machining is nicely done, with very few tool marks. I sent to SDS Imports for a +1 Magazine Extension that replaces the factory magazine cap, and adds another shell capacity. It should be here next week.

I cleaned and lubed it, and put the Full Choke tube in. And Saturday I'm going to the club to smash some clay, and break it in. I'm really amazed at the quality they build into these guns for the price.

If anyone is interested, Palmetto State Armory is still listing them on a closeout. Albeit they've upped the price to $270.00.... Still a good buy with all considered.

Price drop to $269.99!

It comes with a rear swivel. Where would you put the front one?
I mistyped. I paid $220.00, not $320.00. (I corrected it). Now they're at $270.00. The front sling swivel attaches to the magazine cap. It comes with a Nylon type sling that's functional, but kind of cheap looking.

I'll probably go with a Vanguard. I have them on both my Mossberg 500 and 590. They have a nice wide "grippy" rubber shoulder strap.

I just noticed that the extended magazine tube I have on order, doesn't provide an attachment for a sling swivel. I'll have to look it over when I get it, to see if one can be added.

So I was finally able to get out to the range early this morning with the new Turkish wonder. Before I left I pulled it apart and gave it a good cleaning and lube job. I was going to go to the patterning board first, to see where it was shooting. But there were a couple of guys using it, so I just went to one of the Trap fields and had at it.

I shot a total of 4 rounds, (100 targets), and the gun ran flawlessly. You can only load one round at a time, so I kept putting one in the magazine, then shucked it into the chamber. As opposed to just putting the round directly into the chamber. The gun fed flawlessly from the magazine. (All of the rounds were my Trap reloads).

It was shooting very high which I expected because of the Ghost Ring sights, and the high front Hi-Viz blade. Once I figured where the thing was printing, the targets broke with regularity. (I had the full choke tube in the gun).

With hindsight always being 20/20, I should have patterned it first, and I wouldn't have dropped so many targets on the first round, screwing around trying to find the correct point of aim.... But it's a house gun, not a Trap gun.

By the 4th round the action had noticeably smoothed out. After I got back I gave it a good wet cleaning, along with another good lube job, and now it cycles smooth as silk. After another couple of hundred rounds she should be nice and slick.

So overall I'm happy with this gun. It runs good, and there were zero problems with it feeding and ejecting. For the price it was a very good deal.

Well, I'm at it yet again. This is my newest Turkish acquisition. A Panzer Arms M-4. It's an exact clone of the Benelli M-4. I got this one from Palmetto State Armory for just $399.00.

They still have them, but are now showing them at $429.00. Still a very good buy. This has the exact same A.R.G.O. gas system Benelli had their patent run out on. Military Arms Corporation also produces versions of this gun as well.

All are getting very good reviews on the various Youtube channels. All Benelli parts will interchange with this gun. As will all accessories like shell side saddles, magazine extension tubes, and the like.

I just picked it up this afternoon, so I haven't had it apart yet. Everything looks good, and the gun fits and feels good. I won't be getting to the range for another week or so.

Here is the link if anyone is interested. They also have them in several other configurations. All are priced nicely.

I added a Carlson's Breacher Improved Cylinder Choke, (.715 Restriction), Because.... Well, you never know when you're going to have to take a door off the hinges if you don't have any tools. :)

I'll see how slugs and 00 Buck go through it when I get it to the range. And then go from there. I have to say the thing is very well machined, and the threads fit perfectly. A .250 diameter pin punch fit the holes perfectly to tighten and loosen it.

And one more time for good luck..... This will be the last one for awhile. This one is the Military Arms Corporation M-2. It's an exact clone of the Benelli M-2. They did a nice job with this shotgun. The Electroless Nickel finish is flawless. Wood to metal fit is very good as well.

It has the exact same ghost ring sights the M-4 has. The M-2 action is solely inertia driven, (no gas), and is a bit simpler than the A.R.G.O. gas action the M-4 has. Both have a locking rotating bolt like a centerfire rifle, that locks up like a bank vault into the barrel.

A lot stronger than the single locking tab you see on other pumps and autoloaders. Things that could be better. 1). The Turkish Walnut has nice grain and a smooth finish. But it could have had a bit better finish. I'm going to hit it with a couple good coats of Renaissance Wax today, along with a good buff job, and see if that improves things.

2). The other thing I'm not fond of is the fake magazine extension. I would have rather had the shorter magazine tube they offer without the barrel clamp. Both hold 5 rounds of 3" ammo. That's what the picture showed on Palmetto's website. But this is what they shipped. But it's certainly not a deal breaker..... Especially for the price... ($400.00 and change to my FFL).

Anyway, I'm happy with the gun overall thus far. Hopefully this weekend I'll get both the M-2 and the M-4 to the range. I'm going to Walmart this morning to grab some more high velocity 1-1/4 ounce high brass 7-1/2 shot loads to break both guns in. Then I'll see if they eat standard AA Winchester and Remington STS Trap Loads.

I purchased 2 of the SAR 2000 CZ clones earlier this year, and I'm very pleased with both of them. They are well made, excellent running handguns. It is refreshing to still find this kind of good value available in the new firearms market today.

All the Turkish made guns I have seen have been great for the price. There are some good guns coming out of the Philippines too. Right now is a great time to buy guns, the prices for used are rock bottom and there are some great deals on new. I know people reminisce about the days when you could buy surplus rifles out of crates at the hardware store (with no 4473), but this is as good as it gets in our day. I’ve been a home based FFL for 15 years and this is the best time I’ve seen to buy.

Not sure how I missed this! You my friend are going to cost me money! I'm bookmarking this one and might grab one shortly, maybe a July 4 sale?

If you're not already, be sure to get on Palmetto State Armory's E-mailing list. They run sales on these Turkish shotguns all the time. Lately they've been churning out some really good deals. I'm guessing they'll have a big 250th Anniversary Fourth Of July sale for sure.
