All of my spider senses got excited when I saw one at Costco. I think this may be my next car about 2 years from now. Tine to saves the coins to pay cash. It would be nice to see a Accord wagon like those from the 90s.

I got to be careful to not pay as much for it as an Accord would be. I know a few folks gotten excited with options and paymore for a Minii Cooper Countryman than what a 4Runner would cost.

I think Honda is starting to get its mojo back. That 1.5 liter turbo is sweet. It should be in the HRV. Hey look, I am smarter than half of Honda R& and marketing departments combined.

Coupe is good but I lived with a 2-door for 15+ years and still have my Accord coupe. Let just say it is a pain in the butt as a family vehicle. Once I vought my 2nd gen Fit (best looking Fit) I never look back. You know wht they say; once you go hatch, yo'd never go back.

I hear you, my kids are grown.. just me my bag and laptop usually, have the Highlander for you know when I need it.

nice driving cars, 1.5T has grunt especially down low, CVT is really good and the fuel efficiency get stupid good in warm weather, like +45 mpg without hypermiling..I have the Touring model with Honda Sensing LKAS & ACC fancy radio navigation Apple car play ect. Downside right now it's fuel diluting the oil, I've shortened the OCI and run 5/30. been great in the snow, like the Continental tires.

I can count on one hand how many newly released vehicles in the last 5-10 years have really made me say WOW. The new Civic is one of them, and probably at the top of the list for WOW factor.

I used to shake my head every time a new Civic came out because it was utterly boring, a simple repeat of the old car with some minor refreshing. Just like the Dodge RAM is doing now, and many other vehicles.

But hot [censored], they got it right finally. That new Civic turns heads, especially the well-equipped models. Jeep Cherokee and the new Nissan Maxima are the other two that come to mind that gave me that great first impression. Kudos to Honda.

If I wasn't one and done with FWD(particularly when fitted with engines making @300 hp) I'd be giving the Type R a serious look.

they look wide and low on the road, mine all lit up with LED is good, the comming Si is a coupe with the Hatch bumpers.

Nope, you're not the only one.

It's sort of the car version of those gaming rig PCs, or maybe 1950's fins for our time. Of course, the glass is already on the short side, and the rear window is almost horizontal. Thus, visibility across the rear half of the car will be staggeringly poor, making a small car much harder to back out of a parking space or to change lanes on a fast-moving freeway than my Big Buick LeSabre. (And, no, I'm not defending LeSabre style, even though I do like the car.)

That said, I'm glad there's a free market where the winners can be sorted out by actual sales, and buyers can pick up the vehicles that really work for them. Now, if only the truck market would knock it off with the bigger is better and MOAR FENDER FLARES design themes in favor of useful dimensions. It's a pickup, not a Mad Max assault vehicle.

The new Civic makes my head spin just looking at it.

It is absolutely hideously ugly and good looking at the same time.

The one thing I can't stand about them is the headroom.

The grills and tails have gotten obnoxious in the last year or two. Going the way of Acura with too much chrome on the front. My 2015 accord is much more handsome than the 17 IMO for example.

The lines of the vehicles are decent. Nothing extreme, just enough design to look interesting.

Civic sedan is ugly, the coupe looks good. I liked the way my rental 2016 Civic LX drove compared to 2016 Accord LX.

I agree the front bumpers on most new Hondas look silly with so much fake chrome.

This is our CTR - as ugly as sin IMO.
