In all earnest?

Yes.

The last movie I saw before that was "Funny Farm."

Oh I'm sorry, I forgot one movie I rented and a bunch of us watched at lunch time about 10 years ago. And this one was a great movie: "Genghis Blues." Check it out here! We had to watch this one after learning about Tuvan throat singing, which I heard about because I was on a binge of reading books about Richard Feynman. Check Feynman out also. Mori, I know you will love the Feynman stuff.

Your joking, right ?

Watched it last night, and it was tripe.

I've seen a few good ones and a lot of bad ones in the last five years.

Adaptation and Team America are probably at the top for me.

I recently saw Babel and Children of Men. I thought both were very good. Babel in particular was excellent.

The best movie in the last 5 years? That's a very difficult question to answer.

I will have to go with 'The Pianist' even though there are a dozen other titles that I can think of right now that were excellent.

After all these months I'm still fighting with the confusing header, "The Best Movie You've Seen In the Last 5 Years." Is that supposed to mean

A: "The best movie, regardless of when it was made, that you have seen during the last five years."
If so, why does it matter that you have seen that movie during the past five years?

B: " The best movie that has been released, and that you have actually seen during the past five years."

Also, in this context, is "best" based on personal preferences or critical acclaim, or on something else? I might give the topic some thought and even name a movie title if only I were to understand the intended meaning of the question!

Picking the "best" or rather "favorite" movie based on just nothing more than personal preferences is an impossible task without categorizing the movies in question. I presume the pool of eligible movies should be limited to major international releases?

Not the best but great movies recently watched are

1) The Prestige
2) No country for old men
3) Live free or Die Hard
4) American Gangster

Make an appointment with your optometrist.

I liked "I am Lengend" and "No Country for Old Men".

I saw Gradma's Boy which I thought was hilarious.
