Exact opposite than Pop-Rivet for me.

I will do anything I can to be happy and selfish on Thanksgiving.

No altruism...no volunteer work....no soup kitchens...no old folks homes.

Just me, the girlfriend, and a peaceful drive to the coast where we can walk our dogs and enjoy the lack of people.

Triglycerides, dude. And that stuff that makes you sleepy, and gain weight.

I been working out serious.

One day out of the year you should drink, watch football, eat turkey and pass out from the tryptophan. It's an American tradition!

My wife does. Actually, no, she eats a lot every day, though you'd never guess if you saw her. Exact quote from my stepfather a few years ago: "Where does she PUT it all?!" A combination of being a lifelong fitness fanatic and having a metabolism like a furnace means she has to be careful to not lose muscle mass.

I hate people that can eat anything and not get fat.

We changed our plans a bit. For some reason, the kids have Wen off. Since wife is home but I still get to work, and no one is coming over on Thurs, she wants to make Thanksgiving dinner for dinner on Wen. Then we'll spend Thur doing something as a family (hiking or similar). Fri we'll make the trek down to CT and have a big dinner on Saturday.

Ill be hiking to an alpine lake somewhere in the Northern Cascades. Should be sunny and cold.
