First full OCI on my son's Mazda3.

Same oil and filter put back in.

This is a short tripper, several times a day for an average of 50km/day. I have my doubts that the oil ever gets up to temperature, or at least not very often. We do try to get it out for a couple hour highway run once a month. It was actually due for a run when this was done and saw some cold temperatures, so I'm surprised fuel isn't higher. I'm not going to worry about the Fe as this engine is still young.

Clearly, this could go longer but this is the factory OCI on spec'd 0w20. I don't know if we will extend or not before the warranty is up and it really isn't my call. I'm pretty confident that he could go a fair bit further on this oil though if he wants to.

Have you asked randomhero439 for an oil life calculation? Curious what that shows combined with the blood work here. See if they match up so you can get max OCI.

Wow, look at all that beautiful moly you threw away at 2098KM! Another strong data point in favor of following manufacturers recommendations.

I like the downward trends of Copper and Silicon.

The factory fill oil was 12.2 cSt? That's a heavy 30-weight.
