There are few clay models of Model 3 captured in a recent episode of 60 Minutes.

All clay models look like 3-dr or 5-dr hatchback design. All clay models look much shorter than Model S.

Usually about 2-3 years.

Tesla plans to have a test mule sometime in 2016 and starts production in 2017.

For as little as can be seen it does look like conventional 5-dr hatchback(a little tall), not as ugly as BMW I-3.

I can assure you that nothing as ugly as the i3 will ever come out of a Tesla design studio.

OK thanks.

Should look like a 3/4 of a Model S... I hope :)

I don't think so. I think it will be a hatchback for utility. Model S is a luxury sedan so its styling is to compete with MB S-class and BMW 7-series.
