Viral stories are maintained with deaths. Once the stories die down, the manufacturers will be free to go full blown idiots again, till someone dies again. Hardly looks like a viable solution vs common sense regulations. Not to mention a viral story can be manipulated both ways.NO need for mandates or regs, the viral stories are sufficient for market forces.
A large portion of the market has these electronic doors but somehow it's only a story when Tesla does it.Viral stories are maintained with deaths. Doors that don't require a diploma to open are as common sense as say dual circuit braking systems. And we've had these mandated and regulated for the last 59 years.
And it should be a story for all brands, as it's pure insanity.A large portion of the market has these electronic doors but somehow it's only a story when Tesla does it.
Ya think? Elon and his little car company are click-bait of the highest caliber. He's wack. I hate Teslas! Wait till the big boys get in! Tesla will be belly up any day now, mark my words...A large portion of the market has these electronic doors but somehow it's only a story when Tesla does it.

No coincidence that both the C6 and the Teslas have killed people due to the door release. People are dumb and panic, neither setup should be allowed IMO.The C6 is the example I always bring up. I remember seeing that setup when the car initially came out and thought emergency release location was crazy.
We worry too much about a vehicle interior looking luxurious - whereas even private jets - loaded with soft leather - have red “push/pull me” stuff …No coincidence that both the C6 and the Teslas have killed people due to the door release. Well, the first thought that comes to my mind is this is an electric vehicle thread.A large portion of the market has these electronic doors but somehow it's only a story when Tesla does it.
Well, the C6 has been out of production for 13 years now almost as long ago is Tesla was even in existence to be fairNo coincidence that both the C6 and the Teslas have killed people due to the door release. People are dumb and panic, neither setup should be allowed IMO.
I'm saying GM uses a similar design and easily produces more cars than Tesla. Maybe Tesla is the lowest priced car to use this design across the board? I'm not saying it's a great design, but it is labeled.Well, the first thought that comes to my mind is this is an electric vehicle thread.
And we all know, hands down being they have been around so long Tesla is by far the most prominent electric vehicle out there, so it would only be natural that most of the stories are about Tesla
I would have to further say that I could not agree that a large portion of the market has these electronic doors in this price range and market penetration other than Tesla. Actually I can’t think of any or the stories of people being trapped inside other than Tesla.
Nor haveI read much more from emergency services of people getting incinerated inside of them trapped, and unable to escape
The C7 had it and the C8 still uses it.Well, the C6 has been out of production for 13 years now almost as long ago is Tesla was even in existence to be fair
Well, I’m certainly not going to debate who has the better system? The C7 had it and the C8 still uses it.
Even the emergency release is still on the floor.
If GM produces more cars with doors like Teslas, please let me know the models because I guess they’re all out of my price class?I'm saying GM uses a similar design and easily produces more cars than Tesla. Technically not incinerated, but here:If GM produces more cars with doors like Teslas, please let me know the models because I guess they’re all out of my price class?
I’ve never seen one nor have I’ve read about anybody being incinerated because of it
