I've had some great tea when I was a kid. It was an american tea i think. The problem is I don't remember the name brand of it. All I remember it had some old guy head in captain cap printed on teabags . Like some kind of captian or admirall. Can anybody tell what tea it was? I relly like to find it.

And the stately "captain" on the package is of course Sir Thomas J. Lipton, Scotsman and founder of The Thomas J. Lipton Company.

no way dudes! i was surprised when you said lipton. coz that tea was a lot better than lipton. though it was over 10 years ago.
but then i googled that lipton character and turned out he's got moustache while that guy on the tea bag didn't have any nor he had any beard. tea bags were completely white too.

common any other ideas?!!! don't let my childhood memories hunt me!

Sorry about the incorrect ID. You said that tea was an American brand? Pablo, a true, corn-fed, native patriot, will surely have a knowledgeable and correct answer for you!

PS: I really do love adjectives and adverbs a bit too much!

yeah i'm pretty sure it was american tea and tasted great too. i hope he will help me. but it was such long time ago, only real tea entusiasts can remember such stuff.

no tea bag stands a chance to a properly brewed tea. but thanks for advice anyway i will definetley buy it if i ever see it. though selection is lackin where i live. maybe i will try trader's joe or other organic store.
