On a Taurus, with the four camshaft engine, what all is required to replace the PCV valve?
I assume that is it way down between the heads, under the intake plenum?
How much must be removed, and what are the foreseeable problems?

Take off the air intake boot, look straight down underneath the throttle plate and there it is. Some of the PCV hoses rot and collapse. We see this often at the dealership. Just keep an eye out for that. While you're at it clean the throttle plate, Ford sells a great product for that called Spray Carburetor and Tune Up Cleaner (Part # PM2)
