You know nucleardawg, that could be a possiblity. Maybe Synlube needs to do some research and make sure there is no danger to a customer in sniffing the product. After all, there is no telling what effect such exotic chemistry might have on the human body.

This is a website of legitimate information and fact, of which you have neither. I enjoy discussing topics of lubrication with my fellow members. You signed up on this site 11 months ago and then mysteriously post up pushing Synlube, posting only in this thread to do so. You and your Synlube buddies argue and insult my friends in an attempt to prove your point.

Struck a nerve? No, not yet. If you had, I would have already contacted the mods and reported your inappropriate and trollish posts.

Now to that, I do take a bit of offense since I have offered to send in used oil and have offended no one.

I am sorry to say, but it is you, who offend...calling people "trolls" and "inappropiate"???...

So go ahead and report all of this dialog to whom you must. I will send my Oil samples to someone here who is a little more "open minded". Good night gentlemen, tomorrow is another day.

of course i mean.....i would make mistake to if i was to write random car name on a site.

It would be really cool if a new version came along. Maybe the new guy could be 'Captain Universe' or something like that. And he would present all kinds of weird chemical formula that nobody here has ever seen before to prove how great Synlube is.

This should be required reading for any business/marketing students, as how NOT to promote a product.

+1. Yes, antagonize, insult, aggravate, promise them proof. Then lie to your potential customers, and hope they buy from you.

You know, there may be some sort of marketing research or whatever that indicates that if you keep insulting potential customers long enough that they will eventually buy your product. They are sooner or later overcome by the hard sell tactics. Somebody at some big university might have gotten a grant to study this kind of stuff.

After all, just look at the 'think with your dipstick' commercials. A guy gets smacked with a dipstick and is told he needs to 'think with his dipstick.' Probably some heavy duty research into THAT commercial.

Why are there 3 oils? Then you can supposedly only use certain oils at certain times.

any car or truck can last that long....look how many camaro, mustang, corvette you can find in perfect condition with over 30 year of use.......try to sell your product to caterpilar,we use lots of 797b arround here these truck run 24/24 7 days a week,do oil change arround every 4000 hour.....and they use an oil renewal system...[censored] ....your oil would outsmart the complete oil and mining industry!

There is normal life, extended life, and maximum life. If extended life is desired, then change it out at 10 years 150k,and so forth.

So where does it say optional? Warranty says that you must.

For the people who dont know rotary engine consumes oil by desgn. It has oil metering pumps that actually inject oil into the combustion chambers to be burned as you drive. The amount you use will be determined by how aggressively you drive.

But but, the site says do not use in a Mazda rotary engine......

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

Troll is an internet term. How would you define this thread?

Thanks.

If the mods are enjoying this thread as much as most of us are, they won't stop it. This is good entertainment.

This thread is an example of what not to do to sell a product! Reverse Marketing at its finest!
