what do all of you super tech conventional oil users think I used 5w30 . the stuff is very clear . I haven't driven on it yet just changed the oil curious to what you all have to say about there oil. thanks

My last oil change before the current one on my staurn was with st 5w30. i liked it very much. purred like a kitten and the price is right, too!
Most of the 84-85K miles on my wife's Maxx have been with ST 5/10W30. I usually follow the OLM close to 10-15% and she's very clean inside.
SuperTech is a great oil, but is not the price champ it used to be. I paid $4.96 a 5qt jug for it and only have a few jugs left.

WM has definitely lost their price leader touch-saw Castrol Edge qts for almost NINE $ A QUART! Even VWB 5 qt jugs were "on sale" for $15.47 each-glad I "stashed up" when oil was cheap!
I'm a big fan of ST High Mileage. Very good stuff.

I have used it for flushing purposes when aching to switch to Amsoil. I don't think it's any worse that the major brands.
i use it, and have had no problems.
I use their 5w20 conventional, and currently in Western PA area, its still like $9.50 a 5qt jug. Works for me, and I DO use the ST 7317 oil filter without ANY problems.
I guess ST oil and filters are okay if you don't mind paying more.
For less money (after MIR) you could be using Purolator Classic, Bosch D+ or Puro P1 oil filters along with Ultra, QSUD, PP, Synpower or G-Oil.
If you really want to save money, check the appropriate forum every now and then for sales, clearances and MIRs.
If you set up a rotating stash of oil and filters, you need never worry about the price or the quality of the ST product.
You end up with lower cost and better quality.

There is nothing wrong with the ST 7317 filter or ones that are smaller than 3". Other filters are the problem filters as we have seen here.
