The only day this week that's supposed to be above freezing and in the 60s in good old South Dakota.

Figured I'd take the day to change the oil in the Santa Fe and have a nice cold one.

Havoline 5w30 SM. Here's some pictures!

She purrs like a kitten now!

Here in Louisiana same thing. Oil and Air Filter change in Vue. Maxlife 5w30. Vue has 109k and hasn't been done in 10 months and 4500 miles. Only ran Maxlife for last 2 oil changes with no oil loss.

Some me time with one's machine(s) along with an oil filter and new oil is better than therapy (and a lot less expensive).

Looks like fun! How has that Santa Fe been in terms of reliability? You think it would make a good first car?

What brand of LED lights are those in the bumper?

No snow on the ground over here.

But over next few weeks i will be doing an oc on an 05 Astra 1.6 Estate with the 16v Twinport lump and the Jag will get its mid oci oil change.

I can't wait to get Pennzoil back in mine. C'mon July...

My new-to-me Chrysler T&C was looking like it would have high consumption. I was anxious to get it changed to a full synthetic (Mobil 1 was what I used). I waited about three weeks for a nice day. Wound up settling for a NICER day, and finally got it changed out. About 500 miles into OCI. Already down a half quart. It looks like this vehicle will be one of the Chrysler/Dodge products that will use a quart of oil every 1000 miles. Perhaps after a couple of changes, it will adjust.

The grass looks as though it's trying to green up.
We had a nice day here as well and it looks as though winter is finally loosening her grip and letting spring have her season.
I have maybe three cars needing oil changes, two of which are with sons who no longer live with us and one remains in the garage until the first top-down day comes.
I'll be able to look forward to ever improving weather for these drains.

It hasn't given us enough problems to complain about, however there are a few things I am unsettled with. We've had issues with the power steering and some sensors going out. Had the water pump, CPS, and timing belt replaced. A $1200 job. Nothing major but it's still under 100k. If I had any advice and could turn back the clock for myself I would have gone with Toyota. Regardless if you find a good deal on a Santy there's no reason at this point for me to tell you to avoid it. Just realize it probably won't be as reliable as its foreign competition!

No snow on the ground in DAKOTA (even South Dakota) and lot of snow in New York !

Zerosoma, looks like the passenger side headlight is clearer than driver side ? Or more light reflecting off passenger that why it looks clearer ?

Budweiser is my favorite beer too, inexpensive and taste as good as more expensive imports.

Yes it is nice to have no snow!

You are correct about the headlight. It bothers me every time I look at it, I need to use some headlight restorer on it.

Budweiser is definitely a decent brew. Especially in those aluminum bottles! Ranks right up there among my favorites next to MGD and is a solid domestic!
