I have an older car (96) with the paint starting to lose some of its oils so that it feels kinda "dry" instead of slick and smooth. A good polishing would do wonders for it. Anyone have any suggestions on a good "oil restoring" polish?
This is my current favorite: Klasse All-In-One, followed by Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze. And if that's not shiny enough for ya', put a coat of plain carnuba (i.e. not the stuff that cleans and waxes) on top.
For returning essential oils and providing some sparkle to paint with VERY minor imperfections, I use Meguiar's #7 Glaze (tan bottle, "professional" series product). I've been using S100 Paintwork Cleansing Lotion recently on 2 cars without swirls and such. Seems to work well, but doesn't "feed" the paint like the #7 does IMHO.
