STP S10590 CUT OPEN

Off of a friends 2017 Chevy Tahoe. Had STP Syn 0w20 and this filter for roughly 4,xxx miles. Put some M1 EP 0W20 and a FU 10575 in and on. Looks ok to me EXCEPT for the god awful SLICES IN ADBV

Looks fine to me. Clearly a Purolator. I do t think the cuts in the adbv are of any real consequence because of where they are on the valve. Except people cut them open and see them. Seems like an easy fix though. They should just finish the basplates smooth on the back sides.

Yeah, sad Purolator has not fixed that issue to this day

They aren't a problem until they are a problem - which they apparently are not
 
53' Stude - thanks for the well done C&P. This Purolator made filter completed it's mission. It is tachy for them not to address the cutting / tearing of the ADBV.
