7g is NOT 17.5x _more than_ 0.4g
7g is 17.5x _AS MUCH AS_ 0.4g.

There's a difference, and it's important.

I went back to oem paper filter because I found sand on top of the k&n when I opened the air box.

Unfortunately this application comes as a two piece set-up (filter and bracing). I knew this when i ordered, so that wasn't a problem. The issue is fitment. The combo isn't fitting correctly. This is the second order I've received from K&N with issues. The first was a sliced filtrr edge. I returned it yesterday. Back to OE.
