Tiem? Time.

So this morning went out to sears and Advance, picked up.
Sears
-New Front Drive wheel (another gear stripped wheel)
-Arnold Blade sharpener /balancer kit
-2 Briggs & Stratton Air Filters

Advance
-1 Quart Havoline DS 10w30
-1 1/4" Inline fuel filter
-1 Pack of 1/4" Fuel line
-NGK Spark Plug (Champion RJ19LM equivalent).
-1 pint Pennzoil Marine 2-stroke oil

And went home, got to work. Blade is perfectly balanced and nice and sharp, it starts after pulling the cord like 2" slowly. Snowblower is put away after putting Stabil in, and spraying with Amsoil MP HD. Also, lawnmower hopefully won't have to worry about dirt plugging up the carb jet anymore.

Leaf Blower, Weed Whacker tuned up, and got running. Feels good to have things up and running.

Gotta like this time of year. Last weekend my bro and I went to Home Depot, and Walmart. Between the two of us we bought all of our sring tuneup materials for our lawn equipment. Good times!

Sure hope you didnt pay the super high oil filter prices i see here at HD!! Ive noticed a notorius poster down here brag on cheap prices at box stores, but most part prices are way more than the dealer, go figure, and he openly hates dealers, and hes the most hard headed guy ive never met! and cheapest too, and he doesnt live in the us

Nick, is the weather that much better, a few hours south of me, or are you being optimistic?

My yard is a wet mess of mostly yellowish mush.

It wasn't super sunny today, but it was mid 50s and partly sunny. Not time to mow yet, but get the stuff ready to go.

Never hurts to be ready. Just making sure I didn't get short-changed in the weather department. If your lawn was ready to mow, I'd be jealous!

We're in autumn, and getting to the point where 2 weeks between mowing is pretty OK.

Last year's spring maintenance was to strip the engine and blades off, paint under the deck with black rustoleum, the Top in Red with British Racing Green writing. Sharpened blades, filled sump with M1 5w30.

15 years old, and is still fresh as a daisy.

I service mine before putting it up for the winter and I've already cut my yard three times. My lawn cutting season starts in March!

I do most of my oil changes / maintenance in the fall before everything hibernates. Although i did lack on the blade sharpening. I think this year i'm going to ditch my seperate oil/gas mix container. Walmart is selling something called trufuel for like $2.50 a bottle. Ethanol free and already stabilized, given the size of the bottle i would only need one or two a year.

We're supposed to see 83 here tomorrow, big garage cleanout day.
