This had been my favorite 3800 powered car thus far.
Flushed the coolant, new hoses, and valve cover gaskets. Got it all cleaned up. So here are a bunch of photos.

Trans Temp. My favorite feature.

Heads up display. I like this too.

Engine all cleaned up. No leaks now that I replaced the valve cover gaskets.

So there it is. My 4th 3800 powered car. My 3rd supercharged one. Handles and stop better than the last three.

45 honestly? LOL!
That is insane!

She looks real clean. Have never seen the HUD in one of these before. Is it actually nice to have while driving or just gimmicky?

It is nice. I really like it.

Nice, engine looks not too bad to work on. Alternator up high. If someone does not like heads up displays, can they be turned off?

Yes you can turn it off.

The rear valve cover was a bit of pain as the alternator bracket is different on the serious III.

The previous owner removed the door badges. He has them. I don't think I want them. Funny the option package is WS6, just like, well my Trans Am WS6.

Yeah, they didn't want to budge on price, even not running. So it will sit

Nice GP I have a 2002 GP GTP with 23K miles and it drives like new. I put new tires on mine as the originals were showing cracks on the sidewalls. Mine has the HUD display too and I love it. Its easier for drivers to quickly see your speed without taking your eyes off the road so most drivers that I know of who have one or had one do not wish to go back to a regular speedo. My 05 Bonneville has a HUD too . I wish my 01 camaro ss had one. One of my brothers liked my GTP so much we looked at a 2004 GTP up in Kirkland it was nice too but my brother seemed to like the previous generation more and said he would wait to find another low mileage one like mine.

what kind of tires does your have?
I am not too far from you Mike just down in Tacoma

I had a 2001 GTP for some time. I put 270,000 miles on it.
The tires? They are cheap, dealer probably threw them on. Mastercraft, made by Cooper. They seem decent.

I do like the older body style, but this one was s pretty decent deal, and will be my daily beater.

Wish my 00 Trans Am had HUD too. It is a nice option.
Anything done to your Camaro?

Based off your name I would take a guess and say you are at Fort Lewis? I spent about 2 years in the Army before switching over to the Navy.
Do you post on the Seattle Grand Prix board or any of the LSx boards?

I am in the north end of tacoma not in the service. my login was about my chevy SS cars impala SS 95 and 08 sold the 08 as it was an oil eater with the DOD or AFM system and it had the torgue converter replaced under warranty. still have the 95 SS it is in storage. then I have a 70 Buick GS in storage and a 95 TBird V8.
Now I drive my 02 GTP as a daily it is stock for now but plan to add some mods when I can. I also have a 05 Bonneville GXP v8 which is probably my favorite it has 40K on it and never uses any oil. used the GXP for a run thru yellowstone this past summer got around 24 mpg but it runs on regular fuel. mY 08 impala ss which I sold needed premium and burned mucho oil before I sold it at 40K it would need a quart every 1000 or 1100 miles. Last year I picked up a nice 04 monte carlo ss dale jr. with the 3800 and supercharged too it is stock for now, my 01 camaro ss has 20K on it and is all original and is currently for sale it has auto trans and all options with t-tops blue with yellow racing stripes. it is listed on car gurus

my wife drives our 2010 mazda cx9 awd and it has been great we traded in her 05 toyota sienna van as it was running up a big bill with all the maintenance and problems it has 79K on it. my son drives a 2000 mustang gt with about 80k on it and it has been good

lots of cars as I have been driving for about 42 years now.
