Some Expert Advice - Broke Tensioner Adjuster Control

So have to put the belt back on for 2006 EX Honda Civic after some maintenance and belt change.

Unfortunately, broke the portion highlighted in the picture, doubt it will hold with JBweld or crazy glue, so how can I adjust the tension to put the belt back on?

Would you please share a link? Actively looking and seeing where whole tensioner needs to be replaced.

Can you pry up on the tensioner pulley itself or get a wrench in the pulley nut to get your movement needed? If not then you are probably just going to have to replace it.

Luckily the tensioner is fairly inexpensive.

Doubt it - those tensioners can be very difficult to compress. Next time, move the nut “straight” and it is less likely to snap off.

Sure, you could probably fabricate a levered pry bar out of plate steel, with a bend to catch the edge of the frame of the tensioner instead of moving it with the broken off hex piece, but that's probably more work than it's worth compared to just replacing it, considering its age and low cost.
