This might be a few days old but I just recently heard from a friend that there was a small quake in East Prairie,Mo.Are there any members that live near this town that may have felt anything that day?

Yep, New Madrid fault. I thought it was close to a week ago now.

I didn't feel anything in St. Louis. I think seismic equipment sensed it from some distance, but it was pretty mild, so the number of people who felt it is likely small.

Not to mention the boatload at Yellowstone national park in a very short period of time. It is very worrying, because I found out that the USGS is under a "Gag order" from publicly revealing the condition of the yellowstone caldera, and cannot communicate directly with the media in relation to the yellowstone caldera.

Here is another pretty interesting sites. An almost live update of earthquake activity on Mt St Helens

Not trying to break any rules or make someone upset but read the Gospel of Luke.

Nothing unusual, geologically speaking, and don't worry too much about Mt. St. Helens for now.
In fact, worrying, prophesying, looking for signs of things to come will have the same effect as not worrying, prophesying and looking for signs to come....

I don't think there is actually any change in the number of earthquakes, only that people's awareness (and media reporting) of the Earth around them is heightened due to the Haiti quake.

Sure glad I have earthquake insurance, even on the other side of the state from the New Madrid fault. Yes, it could be Motherearth letting us know who is really in control.
