Those old wooden hand cranked ice cream makers made the best ice cream! We too made that at our grandparents' house when we were kids

I had the best Grandma ever! Never saw her not wearing a dress. Grandpa also wore a suit and tie every day. Whole different world back then. Grandma was our church organist. She taught me to play piano, organ, cards, etc.

Things were much simpler in the 1960's.

I grew up in the 70s, and it was just like that as well . They were both military (US Army) . Grandfather always wore a suit, grandmother was a homemaker after my parents were born, but was always made up and dressed up.
