Site Advisor is the only add-on for FF that I use. I don't try to surround myself with protection and then go looking for trouble.

I think it's great. Link Scanner Pro is even better but you have to pay to get good protection.

SiteAdvisor is specifically good for Internet Explorer because it will redirect you away from pages that have browser exploits.

I use WOT for FireFox. I assume it's like what you guys are talking about. People rate websites and it shows you their ratings. Very handy. Sometimes you can google something to buy and see that some websites are bad in other people's eyes.
