Maybe it's time to read them again.

I'm lucky if I spend $5 a month on paper towels (thanks, Dollar Tree!), so that doesn't apply.

Yes, I noticed the quick cut in the "ShamWow absorbs cola from carpet" demo. Most people might not notice it, but it is sneaky.

If it's rough to the skin, I don't want it on my car. Maybe I could find lots of uses for a packet of 'em around the house -- though, since the passing of Oreo, my Princess Piddlepuss cat with kidney issues, I don't have any big spills to clean anymore.

He does it in real life, and he did it on the shopping channel with no cut either (that annoying lady never shuts up while he's showing you how it works). There may be a cut in the commercial, but on the shopping channel, you can definitely see it working (although maybe not as well as the info-one, but still...)

i had thought about getting some for my girlfriend to use around the house but just gave her several microfiber towels to use instead.

Gotta love that line.

The headset is worn by the guy on the TV commercial to imply urgency, and to hide/detract from his prognatious jaw.

They are better than the average towel when drying a car.

The proper word is "prognathous." You should have stuck with "jutting" or "projecting jaw." Would have been a little easier.

I dont speak spanish, but the old lady watches a few spanish tv shows. He does the commercial in spanish too, with his thick east coast American accent. COLA? VINO? NO PROBLEMO! haha

I like the Absorber XL. It has little dimples (waffle-weave-like pattern) compared to the regular Absorber. It's also slightly larger (thus, the name).

When washing with ONR, I prefer large MF drying towels (Vroom or Viking).

I love my Shamwow's!! I have had my original set for 10 years and they are just now beginning to get threadbare.

I have used them for every kind of household cleanup chore imagineable.

I originally bought them because they were made in Germany.

They excell in the car detailing arena not only by drying the car (they are only OK at this chore)but doing other things.

A wrung out Shamwow will pull your application of Rain X right off your windshield. It takes the haze off and a paper toweling later and you have a perfectly Rain X'd windshield with zero haze left behind.

After 50 million washings they are soft enough to dry a car without scratching. Air dry them only - here in 100 per cent humidity Houston they dry in about an hour just getting hung up.

During a car wash, I'll use a shamwow soaked in distilled water to wipe down the leather seats in the Bimmer.Wring 'em out within an inch of their life and damp mop the interior, let it dry, finish off with GG leather treatment and viola', beautiful leather.

I just bought some more at the Houston car show so I'm good to go for another 10 years.

Cheers all!
PS. I don't work for or sell Shamwows, I just like them because they work for me.
