This filter and some 0w20 was in and on a 2018 VW Jetta with the 4cylinder engine. Had 4,xxx~ miles on them. Friends vehicle he got 2 months ago. 23k on odometer. He supplied Castrol 0w20 that meets the VW spec per owners manual and I put on a OEM filter he supplied. Looks good I'll say

YUP, proof that they can and do make quality stuff; unlike Purolator the past 10 years
 
That is a great looking filter, even the media looks pretty substantial which is usually not the case with the no-name or imported filters.

Like you said even filters made over there can be very well made.

Thanks Bradley. I got a even nicer extra guard 3614 that Triple_Se7en will approve of as it has Silicone ADBV to post

No doubt, "looks" good at ~4k miles. Efficiency, unknown. If all oil filters judged by that standard here, even those with a lower rated efficiency, fair enough.

LOL! I am glad and I'll post a silicone adbv extra guard today for ya that had 3,xxx~ miles on a friends 17' Ford Fiesta
