So I got this filter of of a friends truck 2011 3.7 f150 and it's definitely been through the ringer it is a service champ of2222 which isn't spec for the truck but typical oil change shop motto "if it fits f##k it" it calls for fl500s hopefully having the wrong filter didn't bother anything anyways 12,777 miles on the oci and it was Dino 5w20 it held together pretty well other than the o ring and adbv were toast lol very crunchy an not very pliable

Ecore I think. Appears to have held up well, especially since it was used well beyond it's intended interval. I bet he had some hellacious start up rattle though.

That's a jiffy lube filter. You're doing your friend a huge favor, keep him away from jiffy lube. That company is corrupt and they treat their employees badly. I know from first hand, and I'm being nice about my descriptions.

Lol its definitely an ecore and it's from a Texaco oil change shop in huntsville tx the last filter I cut open from there had the top endcap separated from the rest of the filter and surprisingly no noise what so ever on start up I try to get everyone I know off of the jiffy lube style shops nipple I can't stand junk filters and normal bulk oil being sold for premium prices
