That's a good point. And even if the Beretta total round counts don't add up as high as some other pistols, reliability is far more important. And for the record, I see no reason or evidence that a Beretta M-9 / 92 series pistol won't last as long, or longer than any currently produced Sig. And they've proven their reliability over the last 33 years.
