This is my uoa for my wife's 2003 saturn l200 with the 2.2l ecotec. We bought the car with 120k and was well maintained with conventional PWB for its life (according to maintenence records). I had the original (lifetime) transmission fluid changed with pan drop and new filter and did the timing chain because of the defect. I KREEN treated the engine 750 miles before the timing chain work and they called to tell me how unbelievably clean the top of the engine was with the valve cover off.

Anyway, this oci was with QS advanced engine 5w30 full synthetic clearance AUTOZONE oil (free after rebate!!). This was older SM oil that had plenty of dust on the tops. I used a purolator classic cartridge and a half bottle of MOS2. Mixed hwy and city. Probably 60 city 40 hwy. I had an increase in average mpg with the mos2 of about 2-3 mpg. I was very impressed with how smooth the motor was as well.

What do you guys think? I was glad the oil worked well. It had a decent amount of settled matter on the bottom of the inside of the clear bottles even after I shook them for minutes.

Thanks Volk. Did this from my iPad and it didn't black out anything! I had to rush to my computer to do it correctly!

Another very impressive showing from a SOPUS brand!! Great results but to be fair the 2.2 Ecotec seem easy on oil.

So do you guys feel that things look good to extend oci? I would lie to try 7500 next. That seem safe to start?

7500 should be a snap. My son has the same engine in his 2003 Chevy Cavalier - he has gone as long as 11,000 miles on M1 5w30 with a few make up quarts.
