S6607 vs S3675

I couldnt find a reference that listed the filter thread pitch, so I was hoping someone could tell me if these filters shared the same pitch. Odds are they dont but one is an ecore and the other is a blue button so I wondered.

S6607 = 20X1.5 MM Thread Size

S3600 = 3/4-16 Thread Size

6607 fits hondas,etc. 3600 fits V6 fords,etc.

What are you looking to do? 3675 fits new Chevy V8's IIRC.

Not looking to do anything in particular. My cars all use the 6607/7317/4595/etc filter but someone mentioned using a 3675 or 3600 which didnt sound right and my usual filter thread pitch reference was down.

If you want a filter as big as the S3600, but need the 20X1.5 MM Thread Size, use the:

Purolator L-20073 oil filter

I have used these oversized oil filters for the last 7 years on 3 different Hondas.

How does that compare to the 6607? The 7317 is about twice the length while the 4954 or whatever is fatter and a little longer.

The L-20073 the biggest filter you can find in 20X1.5 MM.

The L-20073 makes both 6607 and 7317 look small.
