No, there is another use. Want to make a person go into cardiac arrest? Show them the price of RP.

Just more of the tiresome, STUPID hatred of RP here at BITOG.

I think you need to scroll up a few replies before YOU make STUPID tiresome innuendo's about something you have no clue about! I stated it as a joke. Go read my replies.

I hate overpriced goods. I don't care what color they are

And it seems the 'supporters' are the ones that actually started in on the purple hate!

And I think YOU need to realize the RP bashing I clearly referred to has been going on for YEARS. Its is "tiresome", meaning "long term". Its means it not in any way confined to any particular comments in this thread. Get it?

No, I don't. Can you please elaborate?

Normally I would never buy RP based on the price alone. Last month I walked into the local AZ and they had two gallon containers of RP 15w40 for 10 bucks each on clearance. I figured for 2.50 a quart Im all in and bought both. I think the only reason it was still there was because they were telling people that were looking at them that it was for diesels only based on the weight. Its a win for me either way.

The most amusing thing is that if we're looking at prices and niche market share, Liqui Moly is right up there with RP, if not worse from a pricing standpoint.

To answer the question, I and others, have tired of all the mindless bashing RP has taken over the years here. This statement is NOT aimed at you, just some here in general. In fact, while responding, I didn't even pay attention to who said what, I simply had a knee jerk reaction to more (of what I call) RP bashing & stupidity. There has been some supremely stupid posts here through the years regarding RP. Too many in an otherwise intelligent forum. Its sad in my opinion.

With that said, please accept my apologies. Again it was "knee jerk" words, and knee jerk words are never wise in any circumstance. They do not reflect my actual personality. You are a good poster here

And, if I offended you in any way, my apologies.

Not at all, really. SE TX is FULL of Cajuns. I hail from Port Arthur, which back in the 60's and 70's was "more Cajun" than most places in Louisiana.

Many have disseminated to smaller more rural places in the area, but trust me, there is plenty of Cajun influence still here.

We love Wayne Toupes, boudain, and crawfish etouffée.

+1 - I am a native Cajun and a Tejas transplant. I was scouring SW LA a few days ago for some boudain while doing some research for my novel.

Yes; and a bit further eastward and southward as well.
