Rotella availability?

I've gone to 2 local auto stores and no Rotella in quart bottles anymore, only jugs now.
Is the Rotella in quarts slowly going away for some reason?

I use Rotella in the Honda HRX mower and inverter generator. Maybe I'll have to buy a jug to keep using it, or hit more stores, or check Amazon or something. Seems strange. Or go to a different oil.

Not close by.
I'll hit a couple more stores and if I find the same thing happening, I'll just buy a jug and be done with it for awhile.
I'd like to stick to the Rotella (been using 15w40). It just doesn't take much for the mower & generator.

Rotella is mainly for truck diesels that use several gallons per oil change.

Eh, I'd just buy a gallon and keep it on hand, usually cheaper. You can use it to top off your cars too.

is shell having a shortage or a problem with there refinery ?? It took months to finally get PP at Walmarts by me. AAP also is in short supply of pennzoil and Quaker state products

walmarts supertech oil is a fine oil. around these parts you can still fine the older rotella CJ-4. and some CK here n there.

The gas to liquid plant that supplies their group III oil was down part of last year. May have caused some shortages.

Might be due to the rebates they have been using to attract buyers, $2 rebate a quart on PP & $3 a gallon rebate on QS Green bottle especially when found on sale allowed me to stock the shelf in the garage this past year nicely for the next 12-16 months.

Cant pass up NAPA sale of PP @ $4.99, and AutoZone $2 a quart sale then tack on those additional rebates.
