Hard for me to pick only one movie he did as my favorite, but if I did, it was The Sting.

RIP. Liked Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid from 1969.
The Natural - c. 1983. Plot holes you could drive a truck through, but very enjoyable anyway.
He didn't do a whole lot of acting work in his later years, but he did at least one mega budget movie - Captain America: the Winter Soldier. It was the kind of role where it was “they really got Redford?”
Among my favorite actors in the whole world.

Capped his amazing career off with a great film about an agung bank robber; Old Man & the Gun. Didn't generate much buzz, but a great flick.
I know it wasn't his biggest movie but I always loved the role he played in the movie The Last Castle opposite James Gandolfini. It was also fun seeing him in Avengers Endgame
Sorry to hear this. He was a good actor. Brubaker and The Natural were both very good movies. RIP.
Spy Games, a watchable, though wordy, succession of 'posters' -emblematic, impossible scenes- with him, a retiring spymaster, driving a very cool, early '70's Porsche 911.

so many great actors passing away :-(
Robert Redford was a truly great actor. I could cite multiple movies but will settle on Jeremiah Johnson. However, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid glorified two horrible men. Not as horrible as Bonnie and Clyde who were killers, but still two men who went around South America stealing from the poor.
The Way We Were. The last scene feels very real to a lot of people.

Yes! I was just watching Youtube clips of this movie with my wife of 48 years. We watched the movie together while dating in high school. Robert Redford was the heart throb sex symbol of that era, turning on women then and still now!
He was a VERY accomplished person beyond the movie stardom. From a romantic old fool:

Besides the amazing acting career, he also gave back to the community - Sundance Institute, Sundance Film Festival, Redford Center, etc….
