I just read, with interest, a brief post about RMI 25. I followed the link to the web site and read it as well. This sounds like a pretty good product. How many of you have actually used the product? I'm thinking it might be a good idea to run it for a couple of thousand miles, before a flush, in my 01 Ranger with 80,000 miles on the clock.

I have used it in conjunction with Amsoil anti-freeze and have noticed no issues at all. I found that it did clean up some crud and deposit it into the reservoir. I determine this by seeing a layer of brown goo at the top of the fluid line in the reservoir.

Yes I think it is worth using. I would suggest a drain-and-fill of the radiator first. Get as much old out, then add the RMI-25 to ensure it ends up in the majority of circulating coolant. If you have a reservoir and just add it to that, then it can take a little longer to disperse/mix.

I have been using RMI-25 since 1991 when I had my girl friends, now my wife's jeep's neglected rusty radiator flushed at a radiator shop. The shop asked to add RMI 25 to it which cost $15.00 then. I did it and it's remarkable how it continued to clean the radiator up. I was sold. I us it in all two of my trucks, Navigator and Mark LT.
