With 1512 miles on the odometer since I added my auto-rx to my '98 Subaru Legacy (113k miles, 2.2L) it was time for an oil change, so I had it done while it was getting the state inspection.

The new oil is Havoline 5w30 dino, with a PureOne filter. I will change in 2500 miles and do a second AutoRX treatment. I originally expected to not hit 1500 miles til sometime in January, so I guess I do more miles than I thought

I plan on sticking with the Havoline for the duration of the AutoRX and then will give GC a spin once my engine internals are sparklingly clean.

Your following the application instructions and you will get the benefits by the way look at the redesigned FAQ over the weekend. Thanks for using Auto-Rx and doing it right.

So is it recommended that you do two treatments in a row? Or is it completely useless, and just recommended that you do one treatment and then keep up with the maintainence doses? I want to do whatever is IDEAL.

To clarify, two treatments means - clean phase, rinse phase, clean phase, rinse phase.

You do not put the A-RX into two consecutive oil fills.

Yes. Be sure to run the 2000 mile rinse phase. On your next fresh fill, add the ARX with 1500 miles left on the useful life of the oil. If dino add at the 1500 mile mark, using the back end 1500 miles as the second cleaning phase.
